Most gallery tools are something else first.

Gallery software usually arrives as one part of a studio CRM or a website builder. The gallery is a tab, the files live in that product's storage, and moving on means downloading everything and uploading it again.

FRGMT starts from the delivery. Your work lives in a library of folders, and a gallery is one way to show a folder to a client. The same folder can become a video page, a review link or an embed without copying a file.

Layout

A grid that suits the shoot.

Pick the layout, split the gallery into Sets, and set the spacing. Clients see it the way you set it.

  • Mosaic or sequenceA masonry grid in three to five columns, or justified rows that keep every photo at its own shape.
  • Named sectionsSplit a gallery into Sets, like Parasols and Details, and clients switch between them.
  • Spacing and cornersAiry, balanced or tight spacing, with square, slight or rounded corners on the photos.

Four cover styles

Your colors and logo

Ten cover colors or your own brand color, with your logo and studio name.

Title and type

Four typefaces, with weight, size and tracking for the gallery title.

Selects and downloads

Clients pick. You get the list.

Selects

  • Stars, not accountsA client stars the photos they want. Nothing to sign up for.
  • Their picks, downloadedDownload only the starred photos, or send the list back to you.
  • Reopen anywhereEmail the Selects as a link that opens them on another device.

Downloads

  • Original filesThe download is the file you uploaded, at full resolution.
  • Web sizeA 2048-pixel version for sharing, made beside the original.
  • Your call, per galleryFull resolution, web size only, or no downloads at all.

Comments

Feedback on the photo itself.

For editorial and commercial work, where an art director, an editor or a brand team signs off on every frame. Switch comments on for a gallery and they note a crop or a retouch on the photo it is about, instead of describing frames by number in an email.

  • On any photoA note on the whole photo, or pinned to the exact point that needs work.
  • No accountAnyone with the link can comment, and their name is optional.
  • Reply and resolveAnswer each note from the gallery’s Review tab, and mark it resolved once the change is made.
  • New notes flaggedA dot on the dashboard and in the gallery’s editor shows unread comments.
  • Your switchComments stay off until you turn them on for a gallery, on every plan.

Access

Private by default.

Control access with a password, an expiry date and an optional email gate.

  • PasswordProtect a gallery with a password, and put it in the delivery email with one toggle.
  • ExpiryClose the gallery on a date you choose, so the link stops working after the project.
  • Email gateAsk for an email before the gallery opens, so you know who is looking.

Prints and video

More than a grid of photos.

Prints, with no commission

On Starter and above, clients order prints from the photos in the gallery. WHCC makes and ships them, payment goes to your Stripe account, and you set the markup. FRGMT takes no commission on the sale.

Video in the same gallery

A gallery takes video beside the photos. When the video is the point of the delivery, make a Cinema page from the same folder and send that instead.

How Cinema works

Underneath

A gallery is a view of a folder.

Rhode SS26 is a folder in the library. The gallery shows it to a client; the same folder could also become a video page, a review link or an embed, and none of them copies a file.

Questions

Client galleries, answered.

What is a client gallery?

A client gallery is a private web page for a finished shoot: the photos laid out in a designed grid, protected by a password, downloadable at full resolution from one link, and open to the client for marking their favorites before they decide what to print, download or share. On FRGMT the gallery is a view of a folder in your library, so the files stay where you keep them.

How do I deliver photos to clients?

Deliver full-resolution files in a branded, password-protected gallery rather than a transfer link that expires, put the password in the delivery email, let the client star their picks, and offer a web-size download beside the original files so the photos suit both a print and a phone screen. FRGMT does each of those on every plan, including Free.

How do I let clients choose photos?

Give them a gallery where they can star the photos they want without making an account, then let them download only their picks or send you the list, so you get a clear selection back instead of a long email of file numbers that you have to match by hand. Selects can be emailed as a link that reopens them on another device.

How does client photo proofing work?

Client photo proofing means the client reviews the photos before final delivery and tells you what to change: in an FRGMT gallery with comments switched on, they leave a note on any photo, or pinned to a point on it, with no account, and you reply and resolve each note from the gallery's Review tab. Comments are on every plan, Free included.

Is there a free client gallery for photographers?

Yes: FRGMT galleries are on every plan including Free, with unlimited galleries, Selects, password protection and full-resolution downloads, and the Free plan includes 5 GB of storage, so you can deliver a real shoot to a real client before you decide whether you need more space. Free deliveries carry FRGMT branding, and print ordering starts on Starter.

Can you upload videos to a client gallery?

Yes: a FRGMT gallery takes video beside the photos, previewing in the grid and playing with sound in the lightbox, and when the video is the main deliverable you can make a Cinema page from the same folder, so it gets a full player without a second upload. Downloads are the original file you uploaded.

Can clients order prints from the gallery?

Yes, on Starter and above: clients choose prints from the gallery and pay you directly through Stripe, WHCC makes and ships them, you set your own markup on the lab price, and FRGMT takes no commission on the sale, so everything the client pays above the lab cost is yours. Prints ship within the contiguous United States.
